I'm Back!

So, I've decided I should post some more, but there hasn't been much to post about lately... and not much time, either. BUT, I now have a nephew! So, without further ado:

This day now has more meaning
It's now a date to remember
Because of
Large, chubby cheeks
Heartwarming, huge eyes
A hint of red in his slightly curly, spare hair
My heart is melting
Reforming into something bigger
Something that can encompass more love
Because this little boy has already stolen a piece of my heart.

I can't wait to see him in person,
Hold him in my arms
See his big sister play with him
His daddy talk to him
His mommy snuggle him.
Little Peter.
I love you.

In Pieces

Gone are the girls,
With their fair hair in curls,
To far lands unknown,
Until they're more grown.
Gone are my nieces,
I'm broken in pieces,
Pieces residing in Illinois,
California, and Provo.
Gone is one brother,One brother-in-law,One sister,One sister-in-law,and

my two little nieces.
And I'm broken in pieces.
